The study focused on the strategies for meeting the agricultural information needs of rural women farmers in Orumba South Local Government Area. Purposive sampling was used in selecting 650 rural women farmers out of 2650 registered literate women farmers in Orumba South L. G.A. Two research questions guided the study. Structured questionnaire consisting of four rating scale of strongly agree, agree, disagree and strongly disagree was used. Data were analyzed using mean. Results of the findings revealed amongst others, that rural women farmers need information on new agricultural practices, technology, weather conditions, agricultural loan etc. Strategies for improving the information needs of rural women in agriculture includes provision of basic amenities, use of both television and radio programmes, training of women farmers, adult education and upgrading the information systems of rural agencies etc.
